Terms of Use

Effective September 30, 2026 · chiptoy, by sskplay

These terms apply to chiptoy: https://chiptoy.com, the chiptoy apps and the chiptoy connection used from AI chat apps. By using chiptoy you agree to them.

1. Your games

You keep the rights to what you make. You let us store, build, run and show it as needed to run chiptoy, and, when you share a game, to show its release (and its source, if you turn that on) to others. You are responsible for what you and your AI put into your games.

2. What is not allowed

Do not make, share or link to games or pictures that:

• contain sexual content or nudity, or sexualize minors in any way;
• promote violence, terrorism, self-harm, hate or harassment against people or groups;
• are illegal, or infringe someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights (for example, copied commercial games or characters you have no right to use);
• contain malware, try to attack chiptoy or other people, or abuse the build servers;
• impersonate others or mislead people.

3. Reports and removal

Anyone can report a shared game or its creator with the flag button on its page. Signed-in users can block a creator to hide all of their games, and unblock them in Me. Games are shared immediately and reviewed after reports; sharing content that harms others or breaks these terms can result in removal or restrictions on your use of chiptoy. We review reports and may stop sharing or delete games, and suspend or delete accounts, that break these terms, without notice. Serious cases may be reported to the authorities.

4. The service

chiptoy is provided as is. We may change or stop features, and we are not liable for lost games or data beyond what the law requires; keep copies of what matters to you (the source can be downloaded as a zip). AI chat apps you connect are separate services under their own terms.

5. chiptoy Pro and ads

Without Pro, the apps show ads, and each ROM or source download in the apps needs a short ad first, up to 5 a day; the website shows no ads and offers downloads with Pro only. The ROM of a game someone else shared is never downloadable.

chiptoy Pro (weekly, monthly or yearly) removes the ads and the download limit. It is bought in the apps through Google Play or the App Store and works on the website with the same account. Payment is charged to your store account; the subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Google Play or Apple ID settings; refunds follow the store's rules. Deleting your chiptoy account does not cancel the subscription.

6. Privacy and deletion

See the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account at any time: how to delete your account.
